Donna Everett, 85, of Gays Mills passed away on Saturday, August. 25, 2012 at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua.

She was born in Chicago, Ill., on August 25, 1927 to Dorris and Ferne (George) Jerrett. She graduated from Gays Mills High School in May of 1945. She then moved to Madison. She married James M. Everett in 1946. He was career U.S. Navy and passed away in 1986. To this union was born two sons, James M. and Joseph M. Everett.

Donna is survived by two sons, James (Jill) Everett of Anchorage, Alaska and Joseph of Gays Mills; four grandchildren, Jerrett M., Jamie M., Josh M., and Justin M.; one great-grandson, Anthony M., and brother, Wayne Jerrett, Sr., of Gays Mills and sister, June Krahn of Gays Mills.

She is preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Keenan and Rodney Jerrett.

There will be no funeral services. She will be buried in the Gays Mills Cemetery at a later date.

The Sime Funeral Home of Readstown is serving the family.
