Douglas Helgerson 80 of Mt. Sterling and Elroy passed away at his home on Saturday Nov. 7 in Elroy with his loving wife, Dorothy, by his side. A military service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery located on Hwy 27 between Mt. Sterling and Seneca on Saturday November 14 at 11 a.m. A spring Celebration of Life for Doughlas is being planned at the dedication of the new park in Mt. Sterling which will be announced at a later date.
