Dr. Lilawati Sukhwal, born May 16, 1936, passed away on Jan. 21 at the age of 85 at her childhood home in Ajmer, India.

A celebration of life will take place this spring in honor of Dr. Lilawati Sukhwal. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the non-profit organization, Reading is Fundamental, in her name.
