Dwight F. King, 87 of Darlington, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. He was born on Nov. 19, 1924, to Byron and Bessie J. (Godfrey) King in the town of Willow Springs where he was raised. He graduated from Mineral Point High School. On Dec. 1, 1945, he married Grace I. Calvert at Mineral Point Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Darlington United Methodist Church, 546 Main St. (Park Place), with Rev. Larry Hakes officiating.
