Edith E. Marinaro, age 95, of Darlington, formerly of Amberg and Rockford, Ill., died on Jan. 29, 2014, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, after an extended illness.  She was born in the township of White Oak, Shullsburg, on Oct. 11, 1918, the daughter of Robert and May (Johnston) Virtue. 

Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church with Fr. Larry Bakke as Celebrant. Burial was at Willwood Cemetery in Rockford.
