Edwin Schenk, age 78, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Woods Crossing Nursing Home, Brodhead.  He was born on Aug. 4, 1936 in Sylvester Township, Green County, the son of Ernst and Barbara (Rhyner) Schenk. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Monroe, with Pastor Todd Hackman officiating.  Burial was in Moore Cemetery, Decatur Township, Green County.  Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the D.L.
