Elizabeth Lena Ottum, age 73, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away Dec. 3, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.  

She was born Nov. 4, 1940, to Keith and Mabel (Wilder) Scott in Readstown, WI. Elizabeth was united in marriage to William Ottum April 15, 1960.    She was employed by the Toro Company for over 25 years.   She was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of Tomah, her children, Terri (Wes) Revels of Tomah, WI and Jeff Ottum of Tomah, WI, grandchildren, Brandon (Stacey) Revels, Amanda Revels, Nick Lyden and Nate Lyden, a great grandson, Sean Revels, sisters, Ella Jane (Roger) Spring of Machesney Park, IL and Irene Ewers of Shopiere, WI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Mabel; her daughter, Kelly Lyden; and an infant sister.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, 11 a.m. at the Brush Creek Lutheran Church, rural Cashton, Wisconsin.  Burial followed in the Brush Creek Cemetery.  Family and friends were invited for visitation Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah.  Family and friends were also invited for visitation Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be given in Elizabeth’s memory to Tomah Hospice Touch. 

The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah assisted the family with arrangements.
