LANCASTER—Emily Gertrude Werner, age 92, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Orchard Manor in Lancaster after a brief battle with cancer.  Emily had requested that there be no visitation. A private family funeral will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating.  Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster.  Schwartz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
