Eugene T. “Gene” Francis, 80, of Cuba City, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25 at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. Services were at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City. Rev. David Flanagan officiated. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends visited  from 3–8 p.m. on Thursday at the Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cuba City. The parish wake service was at 2:45 p.m. Friends also visited from 9–9:45 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home before the service.
