GLEN HAVEN—Francis Charles Zimmer, age 79, of Glen Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home with his family by his side. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Church in Glen Haven with Father John Meinholz and Father Tom Kelley officiating and Deacon Paul Zenefski assisting. Burial with volunteer fireman’s memorial honor guard will be in Gockel Cemetery, Glen Haven. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Francis C. Zimmer Memorial Fund has been established.  Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bloomington is assisting the family.
