Francis X. Faherty, 76, of Platteville died on Thursday, May 30, at Manor Care Health Services, Platteville.

A Mass of Christian Burial was 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville. Rev. Faustino Ruiz officiated.  Burial was at the Calvary Cemetery, Platteville, where military rites were accorded by the American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274.   Friends called from 4 – 8 p.m.  Monday, June 3, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Francis X.
