George E. Conners has gone to heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.
He was born on May 3, 1941. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1961 where he met the love of his life, Geneva; they have been married 56 years.
They had 4 children; son - Randy (Ellen), son- David (Cindy), daughter - Teri (Ralf), daughter - Robben (Doug), seven grandchildren; Chasity (Mike), Brian (Stephanie), Melissa (Pat), Derek (Jennifer), Zachary, Eryk, and Christopher (deceased); 4 special great grandchildren, Kyssah, Carolynn Ruth, Dawsyn, and Landon. George and Geneva had Conner’s Upholstery for 33 years in Waldwick. In October, George was to be part of the Badger Honor Flight with his son-in-law Doug Kosharek.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Waldwick Community Church. Pastor David Ritchie and Pastor Russell Paul co-officiated. Military graveside rites were accorded by the Mineral Point American Legion at the Waldwick Cemetery.
