Gertrude Viola “Gertie” Fiedler, 92, of Platteville, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on April 20, 2025, at Edenbrook Platteville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 24 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville.   Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Platteville.  Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
