A private family funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at Wiota Lutheran Church (6682 State Road 78, South Wayne WI 53587) where Rev. Kate Kieckhafer of Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington officiated. Burial was in West Wiota Cemetery in rural Gratiot where military graveside rites were accorded by Bates-O’Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post #214 of Darlington. A public visitation was held Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main St., Darlington).
