Hazel C. McDonald, formerly of Gratiot, passed away Dec. 15, 2011, at the age of 99 in Darlington. She was born Feb. 26, 1912, in Gratiot to Frank and Emma (Johnson) Winters. Visitation was held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot. Funeral service followed the visitation at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot. Interment took place at the Gratiot Catholic Cemetery.
