Hilda Atkinson, 103, of Ironton, died Sunday Jan. 26, 2014 at Our House in Reedsburg, WI.
She was born April 1, 1910 in the Town of Woodland in Sauk County the daughter of Alfred Sr. and Mary (Kolash) Bulin. She was united in marriage to Harold G. Atkinson on Nov. 21 1934.

She was a very active member of the Valton Wesleyan Church. Hilda worked in Janesville for a while at Gossard Factory, then was a homemaker and help mate.

She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Duane, age 2, and a daughter, Denise Darlene, age 8,  and husband Harold, her parents and five brothers: Wenzel, Joseph, Edward,  Alfred, and Arnold Bulin.

She is survived by a sister- in-law, Norma Bulin; several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends and her dear special friend, Muriel Blakeslee.

Funeral services for Hilda will be held 11 a.m. Friday Jan. 31, 2014 at Valton Wesleyan Church with Pastor Terry Woirol officiating. Burial will be in Champion Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 402 Center St., Wonewoc, WI. and from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Friday.

Thompson Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
