Hildegard I. “Hilda” Hinderman, age 81 of Monroe, formerly of Darlington, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. She was born Sept. 15, 1933 in Grant County, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Stuer) Schaefer.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, (104 East Harriet Street, Darlington). Burial was held at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main St, Darlington) where a Rosary was prayed at 4:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Hilda’s name.
