James (Jim) E. Boylen, 82, of Seneca passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday September 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Seneca. Reverends Zachrie Beya and Victor Feltes concelebrated, with burial in the church cemetery. Military honors were awarded graveside by the Wisconsin Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Frieds called on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien where there was a scripture service at 8 p.m. Friends also called at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are prefered and will be distrubited by the family to some of Jim's favorite charities. The Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien assisted the family with arrangements.
