James (Jim) F. Patch, age 84, of Richland Center passed away following a brief illness on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 160 W. 4th St., Richland Center.   Monsignor Roger Scheckel will officiate with interment immediately following in the Fancy Creek Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Local Veterans Military Memorial Honors Unit.  Visitation was held on Wednesday, at the Stafford Funeral Home, 1235 Hwy 14 West, Richland Center, from 5 to 8 p.m.and again on Thursday at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m.. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those wishing to honor Jim’s memory consider making a donation to either Passages, Inc. or G.R.A.C.E. Inc., both in Richland Center.
