James “Jim” Roland Schmitz, 81, of Montfort, formerly of Greeley, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 6, surrounded by his wife and four sons, at the Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville.

Wisconsin arrangements is visitation from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Jan. 14 at St. Thomas Parish in Montfort. Mass is at noon, with luncheon to follow, on Friday, Jan. 14 at the church. Iowa arrangements is visitation from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa. Inurnment and burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Greeley, Iowa.The Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory of Manchester, Iowa is assisting the family.
