Janice K. Foley, age 69 of Darlington, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born Sept. 27, 1948 in Dodgeville, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Cullen) Foley. Janice graduated from Darlington High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to Norman P. Foley on Sept. 17, 1966 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington. Janice lived in Darlington her entire life where she and Norm farmed West of Darlington on County F all of their married lives.  
Janice is survived by her children: John (Kimberly) Foley of Darlington, Thomas (Erin) Foley of Bartlett, Ill., Sherry (Jeremy) Venson of Darlington, David (Amanda Pedley) Foley of Shullsburg, and Sharon (Luis Cruz) Foley of Darlington; and one foster son: Gary (Jeanne) Scace of Monticello; her grandchildren: John-Paul, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Allison, Kristina, James, Jesse, Sarah, Adam, and Vanessa; her great-grandchildren: Hayden and Alyssa Scace; one brother: Ronald (Darlene Adee) Foley of Janesville; and two sisters: Karen Foley and Sandy Casales both of Darlington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Norm in 2012; one son: Paul James Foley; and one brother: Robert Foley.
Janice was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington and enjoyed helping out with church functions. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, creating memories they will all remember forever. She truly enjoyed taking care of her loved ones and those who were less fortunate. She had a true gift of comforting people when they needed her the most. Janice will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (104 E. Harriet St., Darlington) with Rev. Joji Reddy officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church where a rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. A visitation will also be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.
