Alma Jean Green, affectionately known as Jean, was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Born on April 21, 1953, Jean’s life was a testament to her unwavering optimism, boundless creativity, and loving spirit. She passed away on June 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in Jean’s memory.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home with a short prayer service at 5 p.m. An additional visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Jean will be laid to rest at Sylvan Cemetery on S. Church Drive, in Sylvan Township. Following the burial, there will be a gathering for refreshments at Jean and Fred's farm, 19884 County Hwy U, Soldiers Grove. Online condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
