John A. “Jack” Popple, 88, of Platteville, died on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023.

Funeral services will be at noon, Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. Brenda Crossfield will officiate. Private family burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville. Chapel Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association.
