Joseph Daniel Fitzsimmons, age 58 of Montfort, died with his beloved wife by his side on Sunday July 22, at his residence in Montfort.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday July 25, at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort, with a private burial of the cremated remains to be held at a later date. Father Ken Frisch  officiated. Friends called from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday July 24, at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort and from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday morning. The Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort is assisting the family.
