Joseph LeRoy Joe Klingaman, 1978-2014

Joseph LeRoy ‘Joe’ Klingaman, 36, of rural Yuba died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at the Vernon Manor in Viroqua after a two year battle with sarcoma cancer.

He was born June 11, 1978 in Richland Center,  the son of Robert and Loretta (Beckwith) Klingaman.  Joe graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1996 and MATC in 1998 with a degree in ag mechanics.  He went to work for John Deere in Hillsboro and later Dean Foods in Richland Center.  In 2011 Joe followed his heart back to farming, starting his own farm after helping his parents on the family farm since the age of 8.  He enjoyed loud Ford trucks, deer hunting, and recently woodcarving with his daughters.  Joe loved every moment he shared with his daughters Cheyenne and Tabitha.

Whenever Joe was asked about his cancer, his response was always the same, ‘It is what it is,’ and he never complained.
