Judith M. “Judy” VanNatta, 78, Platteville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 11 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics due to complications from heart valve replacement surgery.

To honor Judy’s life, funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17 at the Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville. Rev. Mike Short officiated. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery at a later date. Visitation was from 2–5 p.m. on Sunday, July 16 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Visitation continued on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Judith M. “Judy” VanNatta Memorial Fund.
