    Karen P. Gerber, age 65 of Argyle, WI passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Agrace Hospice, a very caring and loving facility in Fitchburg, WI. She was born on March 17, 1950 at home to Francis and Marie (Kilkelly) Kaiser. She graduated from Black Hawk High School in South Wayne, WI, and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for one year. She was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Gerber on May 1, 1992 in Monroe, WI. She was a retired bookkeeper for Trucks Inc. in Monroe.
    Karen is survived by her husband Gerald “Jerry” Gerber at home; two sons: Mark (Charlene) Templeton of Winder, GA, and Gerald Gerber of Mauston, WI; two daughters: Marsha (Brian) Wilde of Woodford, WI, and Suzyanne (Reid Harris) Gerber of Onalaska, WI; 11 grandchildren; one sister: Lori (Dennis) Love of Orangeville, IL; two brothers: Ronald (Darlene) Kaiser of Savanna, IL and James (Ruth) Kaiser of Browntown, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one sister: Kathlene Walters.
    Karen loved spending time with her family as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was always proud to have been born on St. Patrick’s Day and loved her Irish Heritage. Karen enjoyed countless hours watching her garden grow, birds eating at the feeders, and the fish swimming in the Koi Pond. She really enjoyed collecting frogs, perhaps too many to count. In her past, she was an EMT for Green County EMS, a Girl Scout Leader, and an Assistant Boy Scout Leader.
    A private family memorial service will be held at her home at a later date. Internment will be at Union Grove Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.  The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
