Kenneth A. Sheldon, 84, of Platteville, died on Thursday, May 23, at Southwest Health Center, Platteville, after a brief illness.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Pastor Mike Majeski will officiate.  Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville, where military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274.  Friends called from 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday May 28, or from 12 p.m. (Noon) until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
