Kimberly K. Hoefs, age 47, of Hillsboro, WI, passed away Friday Sept. 6, 2013 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. She was born on Aug. 8, 1966 in Hillsboro, WI. the daughter of Robert and Karen (Kaus) Hoefs.

She loved her job as a bookkeeper. She worked many years for Tom and Nora Scully in Lyndon Station. Then a short time for John Deere, and in later years for the Voyageur Inn in Reedsburg until her health no longer would allow her to.

She is survived by her parents: Robert and Karen, of Hillsboro; two brother, Kenneth, of Hillsboro and Keith, of Reedsburg; two nieces, Ashley and Alexandra, of Reedsburg; one nephew, Michael B. Hoefs, of Reedsburg;  also survived by many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends; by her best friend, Marcy Krogh, and daughter Sara Jane Senzig; her extended family, Randy, Deb, Brandon, Tyler, Alexis, and Faith Seeley.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Gerald and Pearl Kaus, and August and Nina Hoefs.

Funeral services for Kimberly were held at 2 p.m.  Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Conrad Prell officiating. Burial followed in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Visitation was from 12 p.m. until time of service at the church.

Thompson Funeral Home, 402 Center Street Wonewoc, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
