Lee E. Pelton, 84, Belmont, died peacefully on Aug. 16 in Mineral Point.

Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday Aug. 20 at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Belmont. Fr. Michael Tarigopula officiated. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery in Belmont. Visitation was from 3–7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. There was a scripture service at 7 p.m. Visitation was also from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lee Pelton Memorial Fund, where the family will donate to some of their favorite charities. Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
