LANCASTER—Leila M. Schmitz, age 81, of Lancaster and formerly of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 25, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster with burial to follow in the Hurricane Cemetery in South Lancaster Township, Grant County. Visitation will be held from 10 until the time of service on Thursday morning.  In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Leila M.
