LeRoy J. “Jimmer” Genthe, 84, Cuba City, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at The Bridges of Appleton after a long, courageous fight with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the LeRoy Genthe Memorial Fund which, in turn, will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
