Lester L. Speth, Sr., 83, Belmont/Stoughton, died Friday, Nov. 6 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services were at noon on Monday, Nov. 9 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Rev. Connie Matye officiated. Burial was at the Belmont Cemtery, where military rites were accorded by Hinkins-Moody American Legion Post #453. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. A luncheon followed at My Turn Pub in Belmont. All were welcome to attend and celebrate Lester’s life. Memorials may be made to the Lester L. Speth, Sr. Memorial Fund.
