Lisa Kauffman Millsap, 48, Platteville, died peacefully on Thursday, July 2,  surrounded by her family and friends. She died of complications from lung cancer.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Platteville. Rev. Zayna Thompson will officiate. Visitation was  from 4–8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. Visitation will also be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of three places: Grant County Hospice, Grant County Cancer Coalition, or University of Wisconsin–Madison Hospital and Clinics, Carbone Cancer Center - Creating Hope Fund.
