Lonny D. Brooks, age 60 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Hillsboro, Wisconsin.

He was born on June 15, 1954 to Ira and Ruby (Revels) Brooks at Hillsboro.  Lonny graduated from the Hillsboro High School and served in the U.S. Army in 1974.

Lonny worked for many years at Rayovac in Wonewoc.

Survivors include his brother, Bernard “June” Brooks of Washington; sister, Shelby Brooks of Onalaska; nieces and nephews and an aunt, Nena Winchell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three young brothers and brother, Marion “Doc” Brooks and three sisters, Mary Robinson, Brenda Young and Gail Brooks.

Memorial funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at 12 noon at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
