Loretta Lois Thompson, 93, of Platteville, formerly of Columbus, passed away peacefully at Gray’s Nursing Home, Platteville, surrounded by family on July 8, 2012.  Memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, at First English Lutheran Church, Platteville. Friends may call from 10 until the time of service on Monday at the church. Memorials may be directed to FELC or any ELCA church/ministry.  A burial will take place at a future date at Hillside Cemetery, Columbus.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
