Marcia Kilcoyne Barth, age 66, passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017. She was born in Darlington on Nov. 13, 1951 to Gerald and Ruth Kilcoyne.
Marcia was the proud mother to daughter Heather Barth and a loving grandmother to granddaughter Alyssa Barth and grandson Braydon Barth.
She is also survived by her three brothers and their spouses: Roger (Kay) Kilcoyne of Mt. Horeb, Bruce (Lavonne) Kilcoyne of Monroe, and Jerry (Kelley) Kilcoyne of Middleton. She was preceded in death by her brother Larry (Connie) Kilcoyne of Cameron.
Marcia was an avid football fanatic and a true Wisconsin Badger fan. Although she lived in Illinois and California, her heart belonged to Wisconsin where she had a large extended family. Marcia had a quick wit and a great sense of humor we all loved. She had an amazing sense of style and grace and was the world’s best online shopper. She was happiest when she was giving to others.
Marcia held various positions in the insurance industry over the last 40 years starting out as a receptionist and progressing to various upper level management positions. She developed many professional relationships that resulted in ongoing personal friendships that meant the world to her. She was a loving and caring friend to many.
She fought a courageous 18-month battle with cancer and had the support of her family and many close friends throughout the journey.
