Marian R. Mathys, age 77, of Darlington, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Bloomfield Healthcare in Dodgeville. She was born Jan. 26, 1937 in Salem, Ill., the daughter of Jay and Elsa (Flanagan) Peoples.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 25, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 213 North Lafayette Street in Argyle with Rev. Thomas Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 508 Main Street in Darlington and Friday, July 25, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
