Marian A. Mullen, age 93 of Darlington passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. She was born in Darlington, March 1, 1924, the daughter of Abner and Nellie (Moses) Mullen. Marian farmed most of her life in Darlington, Shullsburg and Dunbarton areas. She was also employed by Borg Instrument for a number of years.  
Marian is survived by two nieces: Jean (Mullen) Moore and Mary E. (Geyer) Thiltgen; plus three generations of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: George, Robert and Leonard Mullen; five sisters: Delva Jentz, Florence Geyer, Evaline Mullen, Elizabeth Lindholm, and Eleanor Mullen; four nephews: Gaylord Jentz, Leroy Geyer, Robert Lindholm, and Rudy Lindholm; and one niece: Mary Yeomans.  
Marian was devoted to her family and cherished the memories they made together. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (235 N. Judgement Street, Shullsburg). A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg with Rev. Russell Paul of Community Evangelical Free Church in rural Shullsburg residing.
