Marilyn L. Schollmeyer, age 78, of Shullsburg, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. She was born Dec. 2, 1935 in Shapville, Ill., the daughter of John and Shirley (Koester) Duerr. Marilyn grew up in Shapville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 344 North Judgement Street in Shullsburg with Rev. Joji Reddy officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Seymour Township. A visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at O’Flahrity-Erickson Funeral Home, 235 North Judgement Street in Shullsburg with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. and a visitation will also be held Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at the church.
