Mary Alice Harty, 97 of Shullsburg, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. She was born Sept., 10, 1914, in Shullsburg the daughter of Gus and Margaret (Carey) Harty. Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 344 North Judgement St. in Shullsburg, with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota officiating. Burial was in St. Matthew’s Cemetery in rural Shullsburg. Full obituary in the August 9, 2012 issue of the Republican Journal.
