Norbert L. “Nubs” Vaassen, 88, of Dickeyville, died Thursday, Sept. 12 at Luther Manor Grand Meadows in Asbury, Iowa.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. Rev. Bernard Rott officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 4–7 p.m. on Monday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. The parish rosary was at 3:45 p.m. Visitation continued from 9–9:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home before the service. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.caseyfuneralhome.net.
