WOODMAN—Oscar W. Peterson, age 68, of Woodman, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at his residence in Mt. Ida Township.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. Pastor Bill Rettig with the First Congregational UCC Church in Boscobel officiated. Burial with military honors followed in the Prairie Cemetery. The Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore assisted the family. A memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Oscar W.
