Pam (Elliott) Swiggum, 60, Topeka, Kansas passed away following a long battle with cancer on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the home of her daughter, Staci.
Pam was born on August 5, 1951 to Milton and Laura Elliott of Valley Falls, Kansas. She married Steven W. Swiggum on Dec. 5, 1970 in Kansas.
She worked as a childcare provider and worked for Hospice the past several years.
Pam is survived by her son, Spencer and daughter and son-in-law Staci and Chris Stahlheber and grandchildren, Kelsi, Courtni, Madyson, Cason and Colton all of Kansas; brothers, Allan Miller of Arkansas and Michael Elliott of Maryland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy Halverson, Gladbrook, Iowa, Lona (Jim) Connor, Madison, Mick (Monica) Swiggum, Soldiers Grove, Sanford (Joan) Swiggum, Mt. Sterling, Dan Swiggum, Towerville and Bonnie (Mark) Olson, Star Valley and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve on Nov. 19, 1988, her parents, Milton and Laura Elliott; mother and father-in-law, Morris and Ruth Swiggum and brother-in-law, Roger Halverson.
A memorial service and burial of the cremains will be held on Saturday, Sept 10 at Berryton, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be sent to Barryton United Methodist Church, 7010 W. E. Berryton Road, Berryton, Kansas 66409.
