Pastor Peter Brayko, 90, of Platteville, died on Monday Dec. 5, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, Iowa.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at New Hope Assembly of God Church, where chapel military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42.  Pastor Mike Majeski officiated.  Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville. Friends called from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.  Memorials may be made to the Peter Brayko Memorial Fund.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
