Paul D. Riechers, 77, of Belmont/Platteville died on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at University Hospital, Madison, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Paul was born on Oct. 28, 1937 in Belmont, son of Frank and Amanda (Gullickson) Riechers.

Funeral services were at noon on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at the Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont.  Rev. Connie Matye officiated.  Burial was at the Belmont Cemetery.  Friends called from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.  Memorials may be made to the Paul D. Riechers Memorial Fund to be used for scholarships in Paul’s memory through the Belmont High School.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com
