Phyllis E. Rewey, 86, of Platteville, passed away Friday, July 13, at Gray’s Nursing Home in Platteville with her lifelong sweetheart at her side.  Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the United Methodist Church, Platteville.  Pastor Brenda Whitford officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery.  Friends called from 4 - 7 p.m. Monday, July 16, at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.  There was a lunch served after the service.  The family requests no flowers.  Memorials may be made to the Phyllis Rewey Memorial Fund, which the family will distribute to charities.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
