MONTANA—Richard (Rick) Schmitz, age 57, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, 2016 in a tragic train accident while at work.

A memorial service, followed by light reception, was on Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula, Mont. An additional memorial service will be held in Potosi later in the year.
