Robert (Bob) Teasdale Lee, age 83 of Newberg, Ore., died Nov. 4, 2016, at his son’s home in Newberg, Ore.  He was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Madison, the son of Paul R. and Frances (Teasdale) Lee.
Bob graduated from Darlington High School, Darlington, in 1950, and served as a S/SGT in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 - 1956, serving in Korea.  After attending UW-Platteville he worked for the Del Monte Corp. for 31 years first in Rochelle, Ill., and then Burley, Idaho.  He then enjoyed his hobby farm near Newberg, Ore., where he had a huge vegetable garden, raised sheep, and grew fruit trees.  He loved living near his children and their families and spending time with his grandchildren, being a very special Grandpa to them.  Bob was always interested in any news from “back home” including family, friends, the Badgers, the Packers, and even the “weather!”
He is survived by four sons:  Bruce (Sandy), Lake Oswego, Ore.; Chris (Amanda), Tigard, Ore.; David, Lake Oswego, Ore.; John (Helen), Newberg, Ore.; five grandchildren: Kadence (Remington), Kirstin, Solveig, Vesla, Keely; two great-grandchildren: Neahm, Kale, and one due in December; brother, Stuart (Colette), Elburn, Ill.; three sisters, Thea Jane Pfefferkorn, Madison; Joyce (Jerry) Nethery, Monroe; Karen Lee, Shullsburg; sisters-in-law Margie Lee, Darlington; and Roberta (Ron) Woods, Janesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger and Stephen Lee; and brother-in-law, Homer Pfefferkorn.
Services were held at the Attrell Funeral Chapel in Newberg, Ore., Nov. 14, 2016, and he was buried with full military honors Nov. 15, 2016, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore.
Bob Lee...An honorable man...Loved by all.
