Robert M. “Bob” Rice, 58, of Brooklyn, formerly of Platteville, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home in Brooklyn, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer.

A memorial service was held at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, on Tuesday, March 24, at 5:30 p.m.  Friends greeted the family one hour prior to the service.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Agrace Hospice and the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
